Our Services

Dan Weiss

President

Dan is one of three generations in the business. He grew up in the industry, doing such as driving bulldozers and working in the field with tradespeople in his early years and working with his tools, installing heavy equipment for various companies in multiple states. Later supplementing that with a substantial formal education in Business and Law, followed by work experiences as a Project Manager for clients such as The US Army Corps of Engineers in Florida, to various Cities Municipalities and other governmental agencies. Currently, Dan provides leadership to help lead the team through adversities to success with the ability to deliver high quality projects to completion- safely, on time, and economically.

Kevin Markhardt

Sr. VP of Operations

Kevin is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision to Weiss and PWC. He plays a key role in developing new business opportunities and gaining competitive advantages. He has formulated long term strategic positions in the areas of construction bids and business expansion. He has responsibilities for day to day operations of both firms profit and loss management. Leads the construction team with skills that create trust, respect, and comrade. Kevin is a 1987 graduate of Iowa State University in Construction/Civil Engineering, and he has over 30 years of construction experience in all disciplines. He holds certifications in LEED and DBIA.

Pat Baker

Midwest Area Manager

As Midwest Area Manager Pat has been working on establishing our presence in the Midwest, pursuing water/wastewater, pipeline, and bio-gas projects. With 29 years of construction experience, he has been with Weiss/PWC since 2017 as an employee and he had been working as an estimating consultant for Weiss/PWC for a year prior. Pat started out as a laborer in 1990 and has held every title associated with the field and office as he worked his way through the ranks. He was the GM for his dad’s construction company from 2005 through his father’s passing in 2010. Pat has estimated and managed projects ranging in size from $500k to $100M with the majority of these projects being water/wastewater treatment or conveyance systems. He has been our lead into the bio-gas industry throughout the US and Canada as well as pursuing construction projects throughout the Midwest region of the United States. Pat got his bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Nebraska University.
